Aisling Bea
Aisling was born March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first able to make a name for herself with stand-up comedy in the year 2011 after playing small roles she played for Irish and British television dramas from 2009. Following 2012, she was being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar programs. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing regularly in various panel shows. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is an extremely popular contestant on the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was in 2012 the second woman to ever receive the So You Believe That You're Funny award. Bea's surname is in honour of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh is the daughter of a Kildare born woman. She was born March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who killed himself when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she reached the age of thirteen. As a way to honor her dad, she adopted the stage-name Bea and in 2017, wrote an article about suicides and deaths that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. They were both passionate about horses, race meetings and racing. Bea was a guide at the Irish National Stud in her beginning days. However, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted to do as a profession and preferred performing.
